Maryam Parman

Melody Parman
Melody’s achievements as a lawyer are extensive. She has recently been selected as one of the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 attorneys in the United States. Membership is limited to only 40 trial attorneys in California each year, making it an extremely prestigious and rare award. In 2014, she was also selected as Dewitt, Algorri and Algorri’s trial attorney of the year. Melody was selected to the 2015 and 2016 Southern California Rising Stars list, an honor for lawyers who present excellence in their practice.
Anthony Perez
Anthony was accepted to the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego where he was a staff editor for the Thomas Jefferson Law Review. He graduated at the top of his class with Summa Cum Laude honors. He passed the California Bar Exam on his first attempt and has recently passed the Nevada Bar Exam.
Luis Guerra
Luis credits his father for his vigorous work ethic and sincere dedication to “always giving your all in everything you do.” Luis was driven and set his focus in the legal community. For the past few years, he has worked with Attorney Advocates to help families get out of their unwanted Timeshare Contracts. He is now a part of Avrek Law Firm where he serves as a field investigator, reaching out to victims in need of our firm’s legal services.
Roya Parman
Roya was born and raised in Iran, although she has lived in the United States for the past 45 years. After two years in the US, Roya and her husband opened a business at the University of Southern California where she controlled the finances and was the head of their accounting department. Roya joined the team at Avrek Law Firm 10 years ago to further her professional career.
Jay Rios
Jay began working for Avrek Law Firm in 2008. His favorite thing about working for Avrek is that it allows him to help people who have been injured. He enjoys meeting these clients and advocating for them to ensure that they receive the settlements they deserve. He has a passion for investing in the stock market and has even gotten his children involved. He is a hard worker and a devoted “family man” with hopes to better the lives of everyone around him.
Christina Jimenez
Christina graduated from California State University at Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, with an emphasis on Entertainment and Tourism. She is currently attending California State University at Fullerton, her alma mater, in pursuit of a Master of Arts in Professional Communications. She has hands-on experience with research and has been recognized for her work in the program, in both academic and applied research.
Elizabeth Toscano
“Liz,” is what her family and friends call her. She grew up in Orange County, California with her big and loving family. She has three siblings, two brothers and one sister. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and going to amusement parks. Her favorite food genre is Italian, and she particularly has a love for lasagna.
Magaly Herrera
Shortly after she was born, Magaly and her family moved from “The Windy City” of Chicago, Illinois to the laidback beach town of Ventura, California. She relocated to Orange County in 2010 to study at University of California at Irvine. She graduated from the University in 2013 and now works in our office specializing in medical negotiations and minor’s settlements.
Karla Sanchez
Karla is originally from Michoacan Mexico and grew up in Mission Viejo, CA. Growing up, Karla was always passionate about helping others, often participating in community services such as tutoring younger children.
Keith Fernandez
Keith was raised in Orange County and went to high school in San Clemente, CA. At the early age of 17, Keith jumped into the legal field where he worked his way up from admin to legal assistant.
Byron Guevara
Byron was raised in El Monte, CA where he attended Mountain View High School. In school he played football, soccer, and basketball, and always kept active and physically fit.

A South Orange County native, Chris is certainly quite proficient with his work, dedicating long hours to keeping our clients happy. His core values of hard work and loyalty are very much reflected in his work here at Avrek Law.
Manuel Gutierrez
Manny was born and raised in the heart of Santa Ana, California, the youngest son of a Salvadorian mother and a Mexican father. After graduating Saddleback High School, he moved onto Santa Ana College where he became a certified paralegal.
Joanna Castaneda
As one of our bilingual Intake Specialists, Joanna thrives to help the needs of injured people throughout Califorina. She has been a certified paralegal for more than ten years, and has worked in the field of Personal Injury law for more than 9 years.
Patrick Vedder
Patrick was born and raised in Northern California, and has 6 brothers and sisters. Being raised in Silicon Valley gave Pat the opportunity from a young age to get involved with computers and building websites, which ultimately led him into a career in digital marketing.
Cindy Del Pilar
Originally from Texas, Cindy has resided in California for over twenty years where she held multiple positions in the legal field prior to becoming an intake specialist at Avrek Law Firm.

Joel forms part of our Intake Specialists team and spends a lot of time listening to potential clients in need, specifically catering to the Latino community and their personal injury issues.
Dina Mora
Dina was raised in East Los Angeles, to a proud Mexican family that valued strong work ethics and discipline. These values were instilled in Dina at a young age and they consequently guided her towards a law-focused career.
Annette Orozco
Annette earned an athletic scholarship to California State University at Fullerton and moved to Southern California. After college, she remained here and is happily married, with two amazing little boys, whom keep her on her toes. Her friends often describe her as a “Super-Mom.” She happily manages her duties as a wife and mother while handling her sons’ school, sporting, and extracurricular activities.
Marty Etchevery
Marty is Avrek’s very own true Argentinian. A native to the South American country, Marty moved to Southern California in 1996. As a new-comer to the United States, he did not know much English. He attended high school in Irvine, California where he spent much of his spare time working alongside his parents in the janitorial business. He attributes this job to his outstanding work ethic.
Ashley Emond
While in high school, she played golf, volleyball and was also on the swim team. Ashley continued her education at her dream school, UCLA. She recently graduated in June of 2014 and earned her bachelor’s degree in English. Although she is not currently involved in any team sports, she still loves to stay active by hiking on the weekends and putting her 24 hour gym pass to good use on the weekdays
Nicole Loyola
Nicole Loyola was born and raised in Orange County. Growing up in southern California, Nicole has always had a passion for fitness and fashion. Outside of Avrek Law Firm, you can find her at the many fitness competitions in which she participates. She does not require a beautician in her posse as she is also a professional hair stylist. Although she is busy in and out of the office, she always saves time to spend with her family, especially her sister and boyfriend.
Paula Garcia
Paula comes from a family of three brothers whom taught her many things while growing up, one of which was to be tough. Growing up in sunny Los Angeles, California, she played basketball, soccer, and softball. Paula attended California Polytechnic University at Pomona and earned a degree in Communications. In college, she discovered her passion to practice law. She is currently pursuing her law degree part-time.

After college, Eva relocated to Los Angeles, California where she worked in the restaurant industry until coming to work for Avrek Law Firm in 2013. When she isn’t working, she teaches a jazz dance class for young kids at a studio near her home. She also loves to paint, travel, and read. She hopes to open her own dance studio one day and teach children to love dance as much as she does.
Fernanda Ortega
Fernanda was born and raised in Acapulco, Mexico, where most of her family still resides. After college, Fernanda traveled the world, living in France, Spain, and Italy for periods of time. While in France, Fernanda met the love of her life and they moved back to the United States together in 2011. She enjoys working at Avrek Law Firm because she has a deep passion for helping people. She feels that what makes life worthwhile is making a difference in people’s lives.
Carolina Rodriguez
Carolina was born in New Jersey, but her roots reach back to the Dominican Republic. Moving from New Jersey to Southern California recently was one of her hardest decisions as her mom is her best friend. She has one younger sister whom she enjoys to keep in touch with via social media.

Rosie grew up in East LA before moving to Chino Hills where she graduated high school. She then attended Rio Hondo College and afterwards started on a long career working in law.

Ms. Jacqueline Huong grew up in Toronto, Canada near the Eglinton West neighborhood. She moved to California at the age of 18 to pursue her undergraduate studies at the University of California at Irvine, earning a B.A. in Sociology.

Sabrina grew up in the City of Walnut as the middle child of five siblings. A very athletic and energetic child, she played soccer for 15 years and developed a sharp regimen of self-discipline that helped her continue her studies as a very academic individual.
